I am literally OBSESSED with Korean skin care. Why? It's light years ahead. The level of performance sold me. Every product I have tried performs beautifully on my 66 year old skin. From cleansers, toners, essences, moisturizers, and sunscreens which have skin care. I haven't been so excited about skin care/sunscreens for years! I have ladies ask me exactly what I use on my skin. I got carded at my local pharmacy because it was senior's day. I had to show my i.d. I gladly gave it to the clerk. Yes, here you go! 1958! I love your channel and I trust your opinion!

It’s my new addiction. I need to join a 12 step program for people who are powerless over k beauty.

I just started Kbeauty products 2 weeks ago when I visited Japan and I am shocked at how my skin loved the products. Now I understand what all the hype is about. 🇰🇷

Dear Rob ! You made me smile !! I see so many people on YouTube etc saying look at the glow I have from my skin care ! It looks like an oil slick and absolutely awful and not natural at all ! You are so right ! Surely a clear smooth complexion is the object not a look as if lard has been used as a moisturiser ! Ps you need to not be so humble and do a full video explaining your products one by one ! They are as impressive as these Korean ones and you need to ever so often remind people about your own skin care range ! Lots of love from boiling Leeds x

I picked up a collagen toner and retinol eye serum by #ootd from tk maxx. I'm very impressed. Been using the toner am & pm, subq eye am & the retinol pm. Definitely will be trying more Korean brands in the future. Thanks for the recommendations Rob 😘❤️❤️

Yes please a full review of the Torriden range. I really don’t know anything about Korean skin care and why it’s supposed to be so good. I’m lucky that at 62 with oily skin I don’t have any wrinkles and I’ve been using The Ordinary and Deciem for years at night plus I use ultrasun 365 days per year as it’s great being a once per day application.
But I’m always interested to see if I can tweak things. And I’d especially be interested in anything that could help with some sagging I’ve recently noticed around my jawline YUK!!!The last month or so I’ve started adding a little olive oil and rose plus patchouli as a finish layer and my skin is sooo soft in the morning 😊

🇰🇷💙 사랑해!! K-beauty makes up a majority of my skincare, aside from a handful of actives (i.e. azelaic acid, tretinoin, hydroquinone, copper peptides, etc). Even before starting those actives, I would regularly get compliments on my skin (I rarely wear makeup) asking what I used—always told them “Korean skincare!”

I wish I had little business cards preprinted with the steps of like “cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer..” so that if someone asked me I could whip one out and write down the products I used that day/what I’d been using lately 😂 like cute little art too with each step

Love korean skincare... its been around 12 years using them 😂 🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷 A'pieu had a product called, a'pieu essential source snail vital lotion, thwy had some snails that they fed ginseng leaves and collected their mucin and make that amazing lotion... omg.. that was super amazing.. it wasnt gloopy and it was crazyyy good. Unfortunately the cosrx bad snail essence got viral and they discontinued the snail vital line from apieu.. that was full sadness. It was the best lotion/emulsiob i ever used. Even compared to sulwhasoo and other whoo lotions. Secret key essence rose edition has been my staple since 2015 😂 love it. Also sulwhasoo first care serum.. a staple for me around 10 years using it.

Love Korean skin care (couldn't find a flag emoji) and already purchased] several of these based on your prior recommendations. Appreciate your consistency but snail mucin -- I just can't! 🤮 I would love your review of a single brand such as Torriden. Also, what do you think of Qure micro-infusion facial system?

Hi Rob, Thank you for another great video! This is more of a rant on the two websites that you mentioned. I like K beauty SPF (specifically the Jumiso you featured although they SERIOUSLY need to make the bottled bigger - WTH?) They’re like sample sizes or are they made for babies? 😂I realize it’s primarily meant to be used on the face (although I personally would use it on my whole body, if they would make a decent size tube) but it’s still a ridiculously small container for the price and their US distributor sells it for well over $20, if I remember correctly. i got mine on sale from their US distributor, simply because I find the websites StyleVana and Yes Style, BEYOND irritating (particularly the former) because they’re constantly slowing down and reloading, and even when I type in the product name correctly, I have endless issues with them coming up. Half the time, they show me other products above it, which I just find beyond irritating, considering how much time I had to spend just to get the correct products to come up. I actually just ran into this issue tonight: When yes style is out of some thing, I often find they won’t say so; it simply won’t show up and you have to search through all the brand products to find out for sure. Other times, the product is there and I typed it correctly on StyleVana but I still had to do a ton of work to find it. Is it just me or is that site a complete clusterf#%k. 🤦‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️Who on earth designed that website? I don’t know how people have the patience to sort through it or deal with it constantly reloading. I will often just give up in frustration, and if I really want some thing, pay the markup to get it in the US (although currently, Neogen —which may be J beauty, unsure-is actually cheaper on it’s US site than from Yes Style or other sites.) I purchased some (IMHO) overpriced (given the size) SPF from Jumiso’s US website on sale because even when I do manage to find all my items on SV and add them to my shopping cart, I never reach enough of a threshold to get free shipping and then they somehow self delete while I wait to add more, and I’m over spending HOURS to add them all back again. After that happened two or three times, I put off dealing with a site for over six months. I’ve read that if they are out of one item, they will hold your entire order, potentially for weeks or a month . No thanks. Some people get their items quickly, but I’ve heard regular horror stories about three weeks to two months, so I’d rather just pay the extra money and buy it from the stores that have US distributors here. I avoid resellers on Amazon because I’ve ended up with what appear to be numerous counterfeit merchandise (not K beauty, just many products from them, way too many times. )If I haven’t already tried out a product and found it to be fabulous, I’m not willing to spend a ton of time trying to find it on a poorly designed website with way too many graphics and hundreds of competing coupon codes on main page (kind of reminds me of the Las Vegas strip) and then wait weeks or months to get my order. I also really don’t like that there is no return policy, but then, why on earth would I be spending all that extra time in money to return some thing all the way to Korea? I know I’m in the minority here but the idea of putting snail mucin on my face makes me absolutely nauseous. Aside from the ick factor, which you addressed with the substitute product, I find the concept, incredibly cruel. People keep saying that the snails are treated “so well” but have you seen videos of how it’s collected? It’s not pretty and how vain are we as a culture that we would do that to animals? For those of us who care about, cruelty, free products, how would you feel if someone took you out of your natural habitat and locked you up in a setting with artificial light so that people could use your secretions on their face? They often end up removing the shell, and the snail cannot survive. It’s gruesome and people don’t care enough to truly re-search what is not readily put out there by the manufacturers, but I used to work for an animal welfare organization that has people go undercover to find out these things. I find the whole concept really cruel. I’m not opposed to the products and I really like my Jumiso sunscreen (although the size for the price is absolutely ridiculous and they charge for shipping on top of it). Sunscreen is one thing where I will endure the extra time to get stuff that isn’t available in the US, if I can’t find it here, but I’m not about to do that for some thing like Rice toner, which I’ve never tried and doesn’t even sound appealing. if the websites weren’t so problematic, and I had already tried the products and knew that I would love them and never need to return anything, that it might be worth the hassle of ordering from overseas, but I’m not looking to try new products that require going through the mental gymnastics of dealing with those websites. Would love to hear if I’m the only person who has issues with the SV website?
