X pro 3 shooter here myself, been looking at the Leica Q2 as well, this video was right up my alley. I may wait for the Q3 to be announced to get my first Leica. Definitely keeping my Fuji, the film simulations are AMAZING. If you can keep them both do it. 👍🏼👍🏼

Fuji has that kind of glass, but it's in the GFX line.

I had bought a fuji xpro3, and carried it around with me for like 3 months!! I really really tried to make it work as my every day carry. Then I got the q2... and it just blew the xpro3 out of the water for me. Mostly its just the quality of the glass. The xpro 3 has such a great shape and I loved using it and stuffing it in my jacket pocket, not having a screen if I didnt want it, its a great camera.... the fuji glass just didn't have the same quality of... that sumilux.. hard to beat for what I want. So great to be able to change lenses on the xpro, def a market for both cameras!

I own fuji and Leica and everytime i grab the Fuji it feels cheap. Just my 2 cents

have a Leica TL2 and an xpro 3…both with the 23mm f2 lenses. two different feeling cameras for sure. When I am out solo and taking still photos without any moving objects, I enjoy taking the Leica out. But for anything else…it’s the xpro 3 all the way. The AF is a major reason for that. 45 focus points in the Leica vs 400+ of the Fuji. Lowlight focus is absolutely atrocious on the TL2. For me, I find the TL2 to be staggeringly sexy and it feels amazing in the hands, but if I can only keep one, it’ll be the Fuji. It honestly is just a lot more fun to use and a bit more useful in more shooting scenarios. The Leica has the ‘Leica look’ while I find the Fuji looks just like various films they created in the past. I saw another person on here mention about how the Fuji feels cheap after handling their Leica…I can agree to some extent. The xpro 3 definitely doesn’t feel like my TL2 but it also doesn’t have the TL2’s price tag (close to $5k new just for body and lens…no, I didn’t pay that. I’m not crazy lol). The xpro 3 feels perfectly fine with it’s build quality in my option. Never got a chance to shoot with a Q series but I’ve heard amazing things about them.

I use an xpro2 and I’m happy with it but I’ve tried the q2 and man I’ve loved those colors especially the reds. I’ve tested different film simulations with x100 and t and I’ve never been able to replicate it. Fuji colors are great but that Leica look… you know what I mean 😅

Please tell me you didn't compare them with the TTartisans lens on the Xpro ha.

They probably shouldn't have put Summilux on that Leica lens, though. It was definitely done to lend an air of performance. It's an absolutely brilliant lens.. but it's definitely a retooled summicron from the line launched in the late 2000s. It's design is identical. It uses a lot of corrections to get the final result, which is NOT something stand alone Leica glass does. It's certainly wider than 28, and even after corrections remains wider than 28. Still, we do get the nifty mechanical macro and- most importantly- autofocus and hard stop DOF scale powered manual focus. Nothing else offers the experience of using zone focus stopped down, then clicking over and opening up to jump to autofocus powered F1.7. With the same lens, done in a matter of seconds. That's the true power of the Q, imo. I'd pay any price for that function. Though the price ended up being a beat up old first gen Q ha.

These videos are old you can’t compare the two. From owning Fuji in the past & now owning Leica, Fuji cameras feel amateur. Unless it’s medium format.
