In this action-packed thriller, Liam Neeson plays an insurance salesman, Michael, on his daily commute home, which quickly becomes anything but routine. After being contacted by a mysterious stranger, Michael is forced to uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on his train before the last stop. As he works against the clock to solve the puzzle, he realizes a deadly plan is unfolding and is unwittingly caught up in a criminal conspiracy. I don't get the ending after having sat through the whole thing. Since he kept the case after the derailment, does that mean that this somehow plays into the ending? Did anybody get the ending?

I really love the idea of how there're legit people that enforces justice in the police departments. Even though we know that it's not all that easy. The police in my country is pretty much rotten but I want to believe that there are good people amongst them

What doesn’t make sense about this movie is that when he calls his ex-partner, the guy tells him that the target is a state-witness. Why the heck would he do that if he were in on it and wanted Liam to carry out the mission? The guy should have encouraged him to find the target.
