Man, Logger Wade is sharp. Operator, Trucker, Mechanic, Mill operator, Saw Man... List goes on. I really am genuinely impressed. Folks like that don't seem to be as common anymore. I really enjoyed this video. Thanks

That was very interesting. A film team spending a whole week there couldn't have explained the setup and operation any better! Great job Chris and Wade! Thanks!

We go to the Home Depot/Lowes/Lumber yard and take it for granted that we can buy anything we want in lumber. We have no idea just what it takes to get it there. This video is a real journey from standing trees to finished lumber. As a kid we used to go up to northern Alberta to visit my fathers family and there was and still is a major lumber mill there. Just about all of dad's relatives an other people in the small town worked for the mill or out in the forest cutting timber. Most of the homes were owned by the company. It was always a treat to go to the mill and watch how all the processes worked. Of course 60 years ago, there was no automation so a lot of the work was preformed by people and lots of them. All lumber went out by rail and the mill was the reason the railroad was built. The mill is still operating today, totally automated and is now owned by a multi national corp. but back then, it was privately owned up until the mid 60's.
Great memories from childhood for me. Great video Chris.

And here I thought Wade was just a guy out in the woods with a saw cracking jokes and sweating a lot! ... who knew? haha ha
No, I kid, I kid of course. This is an impressive operation that requires a lot of dedication, skill, long hours and love. Thanks for putting it all in a mini-documentary... a Logumentary!

This has been the best tour I have ever seen of their sawmill. First time I have ever seen him show all the pallet saw room.
Thanks!

Wade is such a talent! I don’t think there’s too much the man can’t do. He gave us the same tour back in February when we were out visiting dirt perfect. I’m glad you were able to film all of this so people can see just how much of a talent Wade really is! We got to see the drawings and him in the process of building that board flipper and it was nothing short of amazing! Nice job Chris👍🏻

Thanks for pinning Wade down long enough to explain the sawmill. He’s such a crazy guy and doesn’t realize how much knowledge he has to offer. He goes at a mile a minute constantly. Really enjoyed this video a lot. Great job Chris 👍👍.
The videos from the meet and greet from so many participants has been wonderful.
All of you do a great job at showing your skills and a portion of your lives.

Now you have a greater understanding and respect for him and his family of how much work is literally on that man's shoulders every day. Just insane after watching his channel and all the pet projects he gets tossed into in keeping the company afloat each and every hour.

The sharpening room was very interesting. I never knew there was that much to sharpening band saws. The amount of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, conveyors and other equipment was mind boggling. Wade did a great tour!!!

Wade is a treasure trove of knowledge and information, a true business owner, hard working operator. Thank you Chris for that in depth tour. Years ago I worked at a truss yard flipping and stacking lumber, thank the Lord I own my own business now and don’t have to work so dang hard with my hands, this was a great reminder of that
