Reducing Alcohol-Related Health Disparities and Inequities among Hispanics.

Hispanics are more negatively affected by alcohol than other cultures, and treatment access is limited and often does not account for cultural needs. While there are clear alcohol related health disparities and health inequities, there are evidence based approaches that are tailored to the needs of this underserved population that takes into account culturally related risk and protective factors. The Latino Alcohol and Health Disparities Research and Training Center is at the forefront of this research.
