Confused Theist Caller Can't Justify Belief in God | Forrest Valkai + Matt Dillahunty

Chris calls in to argue belief in God is rational, but when pressed to present his reasoning, he makes vague arguments. He appeals to intuition, claiming idealism seems more logical than materialism. As the hosts try to get Chris to directly justify belief in God, he circles back to consciousness and perceived problems with materialism.

Despite the hosts continually pressing for clear logic and evidence, Chris is unable to articulate a cogent case for God's existence. He admits his belief stems from intuition, which he acknowledges is unreliable. As Chris persists in convoluted arguments and resisted the hosts' efforts to pin down clear reasoning, the call grows increasingly frustrating. After an extensive back and forth, neither side seems satisfied and the call ends without Chris ever making a coherent case for belief in God being rational.

At his point I think I can write the script for 90% of the calls:
1. Caller starts by saying they have a logical and rational reason for their belief
2-15. Caller gives rambling roundabout word salad that has a long debunked apologetic argument (god of the gaps, cosmological, etc) interspersed with 20x pointless diversions
16. Host manages to dig out their argument and explains why it's invalid
17. Caller admits they believe what they believe because they want to believe it (often couching it in "intuition" or "faith")
18. Call ends

I know it was an editing error but it seemed like Jimmy was trying to interrupt the entire call and kept getting talked over. Hahaha
