Ki's father while seeming unreasonable is such a great character. He's truly a good father because he is concerned that Ki might just be faking it till she makes it as it were. It isnt until he sees just how truly happy she is there that he sees reason. Sounds like your typical dad to me. This show kicks so much ass.
