'Could it be...', the Curse of Oak Island is the continous rehash of the show's format!? :P

This legend is old FDR even dug here. The story is nonsense no one has found anything.

Blind optimism at its' worst. These fools have already spent way more money than they will ever discover.

How to spend 1 hour repeating the same thing with slight variations.

What's with repeating the same subject a half dozen times through the same 58 minute program?

This show is useless. IF there was treasure, it is all gone. People knew about it for a very long time. All they did was destroy a nice island.

I remember reading that RD article when I was 13. So when I heard about the show I was interested. We were living in a motel between finding an apt so watched religiously. Unfortunately, ( or fortunately) we do not do TV so this update should be interesting to me. Is this show still on?

A the end of a episode they find something, and this goes on and on, and it is boring as hell and very fake, like so many other programs.

Every week is a game changer... This is all fantasy based on 3 kids playing around and digging for buried treasure, like I used to dig for oil in an open plot across from my house as a child.
Who cares if the knights Templar were there and they never Mention that England built a warf for ships to haul back Iron ore because they believed it had goild in it.. but they found out it was fools gold and stopped mining on the island.
I have no idea how much more blatent clues they need to say there is a suneb ship in the swamp and it is right where the road sits next to for loading large quantities of Iron ore... This is utter nonsense.
Also, since gold is not soluable in water and it much heaver, if gold was buried their, particals in the water of metals would not be floating in the water.... They should mention ALL WATER HAS GOLD IN IT NATURALLY BUT THE COST TO SEPERATE IT COSTS MORE THAN ITS VALUE. IT WOULD BE SUSPICIOUS IF THERE WAS NO ppm OF GOLD IN THE WATER.
To make natural gold in water AND CLAIM IT CAM FROM A TREASURE IS 100% A LIE..IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. HAS ANYONE EVER TAKEN CHEMISTRY BEFORE ?

Personally I believe that if something of great significance and value was going to be found it would have. The repeated reciting of all the different people and groups of treasure hunters got old fast and especially hearing about one group saw treasure in a hole but it filled with water and they gave up and another group sees buried treasure chests and other items but the hole collapses and they give up. Then another group finds interesting artifacts and treasure but several die from accidents and they give up. I can't believe that only the two brothers are the only ones who are looking for this treasure who didn't give up so easily as the others had. They keep finding " important clues and artifacts" yet they're nowhere closer than anyone else or before. I'm beginning to think that they've realized there's nothing there but to keep people still interested in the show they're "salting the mine" a way of saying that they're conveniently finding so-called artifacts and items that just appear while digging so as to keep people watching for the " is this the final clue to the treasure " moment.

Why do you keep repeating the same stuff over and over again? Don't you have much info? I began thinking it was stuck on a loop or maybe I was on groundhog day. Maybe I'll just quit watching halfway through, this is getting really old.
