1960 Fender Esquire - Blond incl. orig. brown Tolex case

Rare 1960 Fender Esquire in Blond, all original and in very good condition for its age. Early 60s "slab-board" Telecaster or Esquire models are extremely rare and hard to find. This is a real nice examply which is very lightweight (only 3,29Kg!) and super resonant. The medium-size neck plays like butter, and the frets are in perfect shape. Everything is original with untouched solderjoints, the two pots are stamped 137.60.19 (19th week of 1960) and the neckend is dated 5/60 with pencil. Even without neck-PU, the original circuit allows a variety of different sounds. Comes in its orig. brown Fender Tolex case.

Techn. Details:

Solid ash body, singlecutaway,
1-piece medium C-profile mapleneck,
Rosewood "Slab-board" fretboard with 21 frets,
1x Fender singlecoil pickup in bridgeposition,
6x orig. Kluson "Single-Line" tuners,

Very Tasteful playing. I wanted to see what the first position sounded like and I got a taste-- I think the jazzy tone is actually kind of cool contrast. Thanks
