This is not aimed towards power users that want to have more control over their network. This video is aimed towards the average Joe that wants to block websites on their home network. Let me know if you're interested in a more technical solution like DNS blocking or pi-hole dns servers.

It just doesn't work for me. I tried to block the address I wanted before watching youir video, and it didn't work. I watch the video and I'd already done every step. Anyone else having the same problem?

Thanks, was trying to block a page all morning but i totally didn't notice the second mandatory use of the apply button.

Thanks for this video, I completely missed step #2 (DOH !!). Also, I had to restart any device that was connected to the wi-fi when I made the change for it to take effect, I also got the same result by restarting the router.

Hello, I was using this trick to block websites, but I thought I could also block Ads. After lots of searching, only pi hole can do it. At the moment I just use the Adguard dns.

Now show us how to block Facebook :) I have every possible CDN and alias of the Facebook domains in there, but it doesn't block it. It does block TikTok though, so it does work in principle. Just not for Facebook.
