Before my brother died late last year... his only hope (with Stage IV cancer) was for Matthew Stafford to win a Super Bowl. I know he's happy.

I'm no Lions fan, but RESPECT STAFFORD, dude is a humble and GREAT QB. TO have that guy play this long is a great thing to witness over 10 yrs +. I'm glad that dude won a SB

Having a record of 74-90 in Detroit is not a knock on Stafford. The fact he won 74 games at all...is incredible.

I think we should all feel good for Stafford. Playing for the Lions for 12 seasons is like playing for my Clippers in the 80s and 90s. As Ron Harper once said, it's like being in jail.

Stafford is currently top 10 in career passing yards and TD’s. If he can play 4 more years and break top 6, he’s a first ballot imo.
