750km from an 85kwh battery and 300km of charge added in 10 minutes. Thats fairly much double the specs of my tesla model S (with 85kwh battery) from just 6 years ago. Finally a manufacturer thinking about range rather than excessive unusable acceleration.

Interesting that the petrol engines will be actually built by Geely…but then again the previous lower powered CLA engines were from Renault…do wonder if new trade restrictions will impact Geely production of engine - will have to see! Great initial drive and questions asked there.

Im a bit confused. In Canada, the Mercedes Benz website already shows 2025 CLAs ready to build and order/purchase but no mention of its electric abilities. Is the car you tested going to be a 2026 model?

Was it a Shooting Break or a regular saloon? That glass roof is absolutely amazing! Also I hope they will offer the new CLA with 1.3L engine too. Those 2L engines from Mercedes are pretty thirsty lately (and also Volvo engines made by Geely). That 1.3L 200 was really great little engine for every day. Btw were you able to see a new steering wheel? Is there any improvement on touch buttons?😇 Cheers

Hey Nick, how would you say the build quality of the interior trim compares to the EQE?

Do you know if the trim in that test car (especially the door trim) was cheaper looking than you will get optionally considering that there was no button for memory seat adjustment?
