I found her comment about how when she was a feminist, and had no respect for herself, it caused her to not respect the men she was with for putting up with her actions very insightful. It really hit home, when I was in the fallen state and had my mothers emotions and thought I could save every girl I dated. I now understand why they left/cheated/disrespected me. Jesse is right you become attracted to what you hate. I was always looking for a mothers love and I did not know at the time humans, especially women, have no love to give.
