I love it man. We got to use our phones! Honestly someone that's just doing administrative work like writing, could probably get by without a laptop these days. A used v60 or Note 10 can accomplish a lot.

My man, preach! Thank you so much for this message. So many just fall for the numbers and high tech lingo that we forget we don't actually need/use those features. I often look at people who rave about the latest iPhones and Samsung galaxies having some amazing camera features with 1billion megapixel but what do they do once they buy the phones? Install Snapchat and use the fancy filters. Things you could easily do with a $300 smartphone.

Hey bro. I really appreciate the fact that while other YT tech content creators immediately stopped covering anything related to LG mobile phones after their decision to leave the smartphone space, YOU continue to provide relevant, up-to-date, important content on LG's extremely innovative devices.
Quick question: although you revealed excellent information regarding LG's desktop mode, why didn't you mention the fact that when open in dual-screen mode, the LG Wing's bottom screen can be used as a mouse / trackpad when connected to a monitor in desktop mode? I do this all the time and it works great! Simply open up the trackpad in the Wing's menu and you're good to go!

Excelent video. Thanks for being so thorough and answering all our doubts. Regarding the lack of wireless desktop mode, an HDMI to USB C cable is cheap and easy to get, so I really don't think that is an issue.

Love the continued coverage of the LG devices, this is how a proper tech nerd does it - good for you. I've relegated my v60 to my girlfriend (and she genuinely loves the device), but I miss the concept a lot!!! Wish LG mobile didn't fold and that I'd be typing this on a v70!

It's great to see someone like LG take the initative to create another Android Dekstop Mode iteration after Samsung DeX and Huawei EMUI Desktop. While this doesn't completely replace my Windows PC due to Android limitation, I always love this kind of feature when travelling light. It feels so satisfying to have a mobile PC from the hotel bedroom's TV.

Awesome vid! Will be helpful to get me going in desktop mode using V60. Now I just need a video that can suggest some good quality peripherals to use. Probably will want a keyboard, mouse and portable smallish monitor. So am I understanding this correctly. All my peripherals need to be wired if using V60? No Bluetooth mouse or Bluetooth keyboard?

I have a v60. It definitely has wireless desktop mode. I have a monitor with Miracast built in and i use screen+ with it.

Great take ECS ! I wish I could get my hand on the V60 in my country (France), but it seems that availability will play the major role in my choice & lead me toward the Xperia 1 (or 5) II or III, once I get a killer $$$ :) Don't know if Sony made a proper Desktop mode though, my current S10e rocks with Samy Dex.
