when i saw the nintendo direct from mario kart, i was suddenly convinced to buy a wii u. i got the wind waker bundle now and this console is awesome! :) the gamepad is much lighter and more comfortable then i thought!

Add a 5th thing you need to know about MK8: Battle Mode has fallen out of grace.

Don't get me wrong; I'm loving everything else but I'm so damn disappointed that my favorite mode doesn't have real arenas or the ability to turn off that stupid timer. They were so close to getting things right. :(

Last Mario Kart I bought was on the Wii and to tell you the truth I got bored with it pretty quickly.  Each Mario Kart does bring something that the last didn't have but its still essentially the same game it was back on the SNES so I kinda feel like I've been there done that a few too many times at this point... especially since I don't have any interest in purchasing a Wii U.

Having youtube enabled Might just save the game. Games like flappy bird got all of their kick from youtube, and nintendo have been kinda strict in the past of letting content get up there.
