Slope stabilization at Emeral pit, Suttisak

Mine pit slope failed near the railway, the railway have to be deviated from original route and the rock slope was stabilized by horizontal drains, rock bolt and shotcrete. The failure occurred at the contact zone between limestone and granitic rock. Surface and underground water accelerated the failure process.
