Pickering pedestrian bridge in the record books

A bridge that spans Highway 401 in Pickering is now officially in the record books. CityNews reporter David Zura has the details.

Wow. What an achievement. Canadians are incredible people. A pedestrian bridge! The world shakes when it hears the name Canada. Who needs 50 mile long bridges and tunnels? Next: Canada will make the biggest sandcastle.

I thought the record was for took longest to complete. For quite some time the north end was incomplete with all the pieces lying in plain sight stacked.
