Yeah, for some people its hard to stay awake without someones idea of good music playing in the background.
Or without cuts to features without showing the unimportant steps needed to activate said feature.
I mean some people just need to see as many people as possible in as short a period as possible having fun with a device to make a totally informed decisions on what is good and what is not.

Good thing for you YouTube and the general media scene is full of those other kinds of videos. :)

Hey Graham,
I what format did you upload this HD video to youtube? It's the only HD video I found here that plays without hickups. I tried exporting out of Premiere CS4 using H.264 MP4, 24fps, 1280x720, 6mbps but the video plays for like 10-15 seconds then stops, gains buffer, play and again.
Would truly appreciate if you'd tell us the spects you used.

You can change the font...as well as the entire theme..

Everything is Flash7. There are tons of user created User Created/Creative Interface (UCI).

im pretty confident that it will be much quicker after firmware updates. judging by the processor this thing has and that there has already been an update, I dont see why they wouldnt fix all the extreme choppiness of the "g sensor" ui

The PSP already had a Wireless-G radio built into it, the S9 does not. Unfortunately, a firmware update will be unable to rectify this particular shortcoming of the S9.

For those struggling to view the vid in HD smoothly...

1. Google "save HD youtube vids firefox"
2. Get the Coreavc decoder and media player classic set up to play h.264

I have the Ipod touch 2nd gen the Cowon Q5W and the Cowon S9 and they are all amazing but sadly enough I have to say that I use the Ipod Touch a lot more.

But even the Ipod has its major drawbacks.

I use the Ipod touch for all my internet usage, running games and music.
Q5W for my on the go Photography and when I Travel with the use of the GPS cradle.
S9 for for all kinds of music files and some movies.

All three are just amazing, either way you will love your toys.

Get the S9 you wont regret it. Probably the biggest difference you'll notice is the sound quality which iPods seriously lack. Cowon makes the best sounding mp3 players out their. Since this one is flash based, all you have to do is drag and drop the music. It may be different for videos, but I dunno. I have an older Cowon iAudio 7 with 4gb. Not great for videos but for music its fantastic. Trust me, the sound quality of Cowon mp3 players will blow you away! Newegg, com has one for $220, with 16gb

couple questions: 1. Is there anyway to make the touch screen more sensitive or at least more responsive?
2. Is there an actual way to make it go to sleep without going through the menu (like the iPod touch and its sleep/wake button on the top)?

I'm happy I found the modern mp3 game.  I'm tired of Apple and the iTunes Fiasco.  I loved my early gen iPod but lately I have been wanting something with higher quality audio and drag and drop.  Apple deleting downloaded music was the last straw for me.  I'm so done with them, and I don't want some half baked zune either.  Ha!  Where can I buy a Cowon s9?
