The thing I love about slow R&B groove's and rap is how much can be done over a simple structure that doesn't need to go in a bunch of directions is how much of a statement you can express over it and how much rhythmic syncopation can occur over it. The importance of groove is so much a key intergral to how a piece of music reaches a broad spectrum of listeners.. I' have a ton of respect for the musicality of people like tupsc, em &em and many others in this realm of music. And as primarily a rock, metal, shred type this type of music is like my second home and by the meaning of second home I don't mean 2nd best but another part of who I am expressively, i love creating melodic vocal phrases and syncopated motifs over these kind of grooves and there is a very raw realism to this kind of music that goes to the core of human nature and soul of a person.. I've played on a few r&, b rap studio recording projects and truly have a love for this type of music, and incorporate some of its nuances into my own phrasing etc, r&, b, rap and blues All share a humanistic thread that is on a very realistic level of expression.. good stuff for sure and you have some serious versatile mastery going on my friend 👍👍

The chord progression sounds the nicest is Dm7 Am7 GM7. Adding in a G#m7 before reverting to the Gm7 sounds nice too
