A long time ago there was this weird glitch where the mysterious stranger spawned behind me and accidentally killed me. I think it was one of my mods that might have clashed with another and turned his friendly fire on but i still think about that moment till this day. a lot of people give a sigh of relief when they hear the theme but when i hear it, it gives me ptsd flashbacks.

No joke, I cleared out the Deathclaws at Quarry Junction with the YMC/186 Gauss Cannon. I had one shot left and I knew it wasn't enough to kill the alpha.

Then the riff played and save my ass! Hallelujah, Mysterious Stranger!

When I hear this riff, I always imagine a night road: I'm walking and, from the fog, this man appears whitout doing or saying anything, just walking. Damn, I'd always check my back for the chills of hearing these simple notes along whit that BG.

There are many questions people ask themselves about the stranger: who is he? Where does he come from? Why does he help you? But one thing is certain: he only comes when you really don’t need him, like i could have killed that basic feral myself, where were you in that deathclaw fight 2 minutes ago?

For some reason whenever I hear this riff I imagine some cowboy or western gunslinger seemingly manifesting himself from nowhere just walking and with out stopping fires a perfect shot while spinning a revolver but the second the enemy dies somehow he's gone even though you could've been in a field or enclosed space.
