The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in greene pastures: he leadeth mee beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soule: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walke through the valley of the shadowe of death, I will feare no euill: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staffe they comfort me.
The Holy Bible, King James version 1611. Although not the first translation, it is considered faithful to the origin texts.

The subtle changes continually being made to the text is moving away from the heart of the word of God. For example, it's not. He lets me rest, It's He maketh me to lie down, because he is the Creator. Also, it's not He renews my strength, it's He restoreth my soule, my SOULE. I fear for the word of God, because it may stop being faithful to the original texts and become the word of man.

I prey the word of the Lord fills the heart of whoever reads modern Bibles.

Blessed is the name of the Lord, Amen.
