These are such physically beautiful books. Books like this are a pleasure to own, aren't they? Part of enjoying books is a tactile thing I think. You will certainly enjoy the Tolstoy short stories. No doubt you will also enjoy all the books on your TBR list!

I hope to one day have my TBR down to a manageable level like that, but buying books for me is a such a dangerous enjoyment I have, especially at used book stores and estate sales when they can be so cheap. Ohhh that Anne of Green Gables collection looks beautiful! Like someone else joked about below, I'd also need scaffolding to support the weight of my ever-growing TBR haha, it's at c. 500 at this point! XD

Wow!~ Your collection of books are beautiful. I especially like the four book collection by Dickens. Your Scarlet Letter edition is pretty too. That is one of my favorite books. Oh my goodness. I want the blue/gold collection. They're not easy to find. Do you have suggestions?

How lovely are these books! I had found a copy (part II or III of Les Misérables, can't remember exactly) in the same edition that you have of Hugo's works, but unfortunately the spine was broken and ever since we moved overseas so I didn't keep it. I'd be curious to know where you usually purchase your beautiful editions. I now live in Europe (in Cyprus) and I feel it's so hard to find websites that would ship to my country (though I can ship them in Greece as well) without ruining myself. 👀
