Chinese armed police hold anti-terror drill in Xinjiang

A week-long "extreme" military exercise was launched recently by the special troops of the Xinjiang Armed Police. The exercises are said to be intended to strengthen the anti-terror performance of the special troops. In the exercise, a gang of “violent terrorists” have revolted in the Taklamakan Desert, and the troops had to find them and forcibly “defeat” them.
