Koska in Istanbul Türkiye

Показать описание
The history of Koska dates back to the early 1900s when Hacı Emin Bey operated a confectionery shop in Denizli. Halil İbrahim Adil Dindar, who continued his father's profession, moved to Istanbul in 1931 and opened a shop in the Koska neighborhood along with his sons. Over time, they gained fame for the taste of the halva and sweets they produced. Due to their location in the Koska neighborhood, they became known as "Koska Helvacı" and later registered this title as their brand.
In 1974, they established a factory in Topkapı, where they began producing not only halva but also lokum, jams, and coconut halva. In 1983, Mümtaz and Nevzat Dindar brothers decided to relocate their activities to the modern facilities they built in Merter, separately from their younger siblings.
Currently managed by the fourth generation, Koska continues its production in its new facilities, which cover 22,000 square meters on an eleven-acre plot of land in Avcılar-Ambarlı Intersection, where they moved in late 1998.
KOSKA not only boasts ISO 22000, ISO 9001, TSE, BRC, and FDA quality certifications but also holds Kosher and Halal certifications, indicating that no ingredients forbidden by religious dietary laws are used in their products. Hygiene is considered a crucial factor in all stages of production.
With approximately 700 employees, KOSKA places great emphasis on meticulous personnel selection and training to ensure high-quality production. Their products are widely available through various retail channels, reaching a broad audience in national hypermarkets, supermarkets, and local chain stores. As Turkey's largest halva producer, KOSKA also maintains significant export volume, reaching 74 countries across four continents.
Having earned a trustworthy and esteemed position in the Turkish food market, KOSKA ranks among the most recognized brands. With a forward-looking vision, KOSKA aims to further elevate its position and become a globally renowned brand in the coming years.
