Interfaith Neighbors & ReThink Disposable Video

Показать описание
ReThink Disposable, a program of Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund, aims to stop trash before it starts. They partner with various institutions, businesses, restaurants, governments, and schools.
In New Jersey, they are working with emergency food providers. By providing reusable plates, cutlery, cups, and mugs, Rethink Disposable helps these providers save money and reduce trash. In the last year and a half, they have helped Meals on Wheels, soup kitchens, and senior centers collectively save over $200,000 annually and prevent over 3 million single-use disposables from going into landfills or ending up in our communities and ocean. Interfaith Neighbors, a nonprofit organization in Asbury Park, has partnered with Rethink Disposable and has seen significant cost savings and a healthier alternative for their clients.
