Active Shooter Response with HCSO

At the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office (HCSO), we take pride in the training standards that we require for our employees. As of November 28th, all of our licensed staff completed a refresher training course on Active Shooter Response. From September to November, we hosted 27 sessions at the decommissioned county homeschool building.

These were interactive training sessions to provide personnel with the latest techniques for responding to potentially hostile situations and implementing lifesaving measures while under extreme stress. HCSO is dedicated to continuous improvement to provide the best public safety services to our community.
