With the first 5 R211T cars delivered, the full set was towed down to Coney Island Yard during the early morning on Thursday November 3rd. The cars have not yet had the actual "open gangway" installed which is why there is still empty space between them. The gangways will be installed at Coney Island Yard. This was the first time the open gangway cars were moved in New York City!

Finally, the first articulated subway cars since the D-types, MS Multi-sections, and Bluebirds of the BMT.

I wonder how 4k 60fps HDR would look on that R188 toy train you got? 🤔

Once the gangways are installed, will testing include a towed run back down to the shoreside to see if the bellows can sensibly be installed straight after delivery? \m/

I wonder if the R211T prototypes are here to stay unlike the R110A and R110B
