Great comparison! I personally love the 1020 design. The camera hump is a badge of distinction compared to the nondescript vanilla design of the Icon. Plus, one of my pet peeves is the plastering of logos and badges all over a phone. The Icon is no different. In fact those logos including the "tramp stamps" on the back is distracting from the otherwise conservative and subdued design. I hate Verizon for that.

Can't wait for the updated 1020 returning it to its rightful place sat the flagship Windows phone.

Btw...any new rumors of a Surface phone?

Can you guys please use white background while recording WP videos? It just lets us see the bezels and how the UI looks on edges. Aside from that great comparison, great phone, design rocks!

Since windows phone was meant to be photographic phone, Lumia 1020 has more advantage. The camera grip which attachable on any standard stand is a plus. I would buy 1020. Straight to the 41 megapixel for photography.
