I'm addicted to watching long book hauls :'D also I love your videos because I see so many books that no one else I watch seems to really be talking about!

I've heard a lot of great things about 'The Underground Railroad'. It's also a book I want to read soon.

Elizabeth Moon writes both fantasy and sci-fi, but I think she's mostly famous for her sci-fi. She's one of my favorite authors! Cold Welcome is the first book in the Vatta's Peace series, which continues from the previous Vatta's War series. (I think Kalanadi has read and reviewed those books on her channel.)

I adored Burial Rites, I can't wait to get my hands on a new Hannah Kent book x

Yay! So glad I found your channel because we seem to have very similar tastes in books. First, I was just soo ridiculously happy to hear you mention The Chronicles of St Mary's - I've only read the first book so far but I absolutely loved it and can't wait to read the rest of the series, but for some reason no one ever talks about it here on booktube. Also, I loved the sound of most of the books you mentioned, especially the one about the female warrior in space - Cold Welcome I think? ^^

Ahhh, that octopus necklace is amazing! I just picked up Luna New Moon a bit ago as well. Really excited to read that one.

Woo! That was a big one! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Moon ones as I've been hearing great things about them and been thinking about picking them up. Those Tor novels are beautiful!!

Also I know that you would love Circle of Reign, you'd also dig Jack of Souls I think it might've been self published cause I hear no buzz about this book but it was really good. The world they live in seems really cool and I can't wait to find out more about it.
2 more: I bet you would really like Kushiel's Legacy sextet by Jacqueline Carey (and her followup Naamah trilogy), it's really captivating. And for them I hugely recommend the audiobooks. I really liked her voice.
And lastly we come to the Kingfountain series. I read all in a week and now I'm part way through a prequel. It's about an 8yo boy who is taken hostage by the king after his parents failed rebellion. It took me a little while to really get into it but as soon as he meets Ankarette Tryneowy (the poisoner) I picks up. Also he meets another little girl named Evie and I LOOOVE the way the narrator does her voice. So again, go with the audiobooks.

And by the way, you're able to return books on audible and get your credits back if necessary

The Greatcoats-series sounds like something I'd really enjoy. Thank you for mentioning it. :)

Haha, it's actually Dusk or Dark or Dawn or Day, but the sticker covers the end of Dark in your copy so you can't tell! :D Unrelated, I love your outfit, the pinkish octopus necklace goes so well together with the black polka dot shirt.
Looking forward to hearing what you think about The Legend of Eli Monpress!

I can't wait to hear what you think about Last Song Before Night and Too Like the Lightning! Both books have been on my reading list but I haven't gotten around to getting ahold of them yet.

Whenever people want more sherlock type stories I recommend The Fifth Heart by Dan Simmons. It features Sherlock Holmes and Henry James.

Quite a lot of books I've never heard of is always nice to see. I would've commented on individual books but there was so many; they just kept appearing :)

I'm so excited that you picked up the first book in the Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series! :) I read the first book in high school when it was recommended to me by my English teacher and I've loved the series since! I'm sadly three books behind, but I plan to catch up soon.

I really enjoy the Mary Russell Series:) I try to read one a month and I'm currently on The Pirate King #11 now. It has definitely gotten me into Sherlock more than I already was!!! I want to make a video on Laurie King in the near future for she has many books and other series too!

I just finished Bane and Shadow last night. I'm still debating my rating but I definitely enjoyed it more than book 1 (mostly because there was a weird scene with a biomancer that I found to be too much).

Yes! I'm so excited you got the Luna series I've been waiting to see if you'd pick them up!

Game of thrones on the moon with more diversity is how I like to describe them. They're nasty and dark but also very human at times. The first book took me a while to get into as it tends to deluge you with information but once I got hooked the train never stopped.
