Gold Star as always ✴great video! Quite the impressive haul! Every time I see booktubers such as you whose tastes I trust put up Suneater I get fomo! Maybe I'll have to dive in sometime next year! So excited for you for all your books, especially to hear what you think of THE WARRIOR PROPHET! I REALLY want to get back to reading Prince of Nothing, but alas no time right now with other priority reads. When it comes to awards, it does not necessarily make me want to rush out and by a book, & I never base my reading selections on that. However it DOES give me more confidence when I see a book that interests me (for back blurb, friend's rec, etc.) that the book will be worth the read if I see it won some prestigious award. Been quite a bit of controversy over the past few decades about the merit (and selection process) of some major awards especially SFF ones, but I still feel overall when a book wins that type of award it must be a good book/have some huge merits. As for you stalking Jimmy Nutts, I'm sure he's grateful for all those who admire his content, and he's an awesome guy! You should meet up on either your channel or his, would love to see what topics you two would chat about! Taylor & I interviewed Jimmy & Allen recently and I laughed until I cried, those 2 are hilarious especially together! Happy reading!
