A Nice Route which was even better with the Evs Which I was glad I caught as it was leaving after I got on and it was a long journey just because I filmed it at the start of rush hour and school finishing time. But overall the EVs are beautiful buses which are nice and smooth and the interior is amazing a really good bus
History

Route 119 commenced operation on 9 August 1939 as a daily route between Bromley North station and Croydon (Barclay Road). The route was operated by Bromley Garage with AEC ST buses. This was the last new route introduced in London before the outbreak of World War II. It was also the third time that the route number 119 had been used on a London motor-bus route.
On 10 May 1961, the route was extended from Croydon to Thornton Heath.
On 31 October 1970 the Saturday and Sunday service was withdrawn and replaced by routes 119A and 119B,
On 16 October 1984, the AEC Routemasters were withdrawn and replaced by Leyland Titans.
On 14 March 1992, the route was withdrawn between Croydon and Thornton Heath and replaced by new route 198.
On 6 September 1994, the route was included in the sale of Selkent to Stagecoach London.
On 30 June 1996, the route was re-routed to Croydon Airport instead of West Croydon Station.
On 29 August 1998, the route passed from Selkent to Metrobus operating from their Orpington (MB) garage with East Lancs Pyoneer bodied Volvo Olympians introduced.
On 30 August 2003, the route passed to Metrobus but still operating from their Orpington (MB) and was converted to low floor operations with brand new low floor Scania OmniDekkas introduced.
On 15 November 2003, increased frequences and a night service was introduced.
On 8 December 2007, the day allocation was transferred to Croydon (C) garage.
On 28 August 2010, the route was retained by Metrobus.
In July 2014, the Go-Ahead Group restructured its bus operations, which included the transfer of Route 119 from Metrobus to Go-Ahead London.
On 29 August 2015, the route was retained by Metrobus with brand new Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LHs introduced, and the night service was transferred to Croydon (C) garage.
From 29 April 2022 until 15 October 2022, a Wright Electroliner EV demonstrator was temporarily introduced.
In May 2022, existing Enviro 400 MMC bodied Alexander Dennis E40Hs were introduced alongside existing Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LHs.
On 27 August 2022, The route was retained by Metrobus using Enviro 400 MMC bodied Alexander Dennis E40Hs, Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LHs.
On 15 December 2022, Brand new Enviro 400 City EV bodied BYD DD Electrics was introduced alongside the existing Enviro 400 MMC bodied Alexander Dennis E40Hs, Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LHs.
The route will convert to a Enviro 400 City EV bodied BYD DD Electrics and Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LH operation from December 2022.
