Armand, you should do a video on degree requirement for govt jobs. As you said many govt jobs do not have a college degree requirement.

As always, thanks for the video. It seems most of the jobs I see on USAjobs are remote. I hope the remote trend remains until I retire so that I can potentially get a federal job that allows me to work from home. That'd be awesome! Yes, I would apply to a 1700 series; I have a 1750 certification that will likely not be valid when I am eligible to work a GS gig in the next 3 years.

Thanks for the continued videos. Of course the remote work will appeal to some people. I Shy'd away from any remote roles in my search because I simply prefer an office environment and the social even with people I may dislike. It's just tough to picture being remote after 10 years of going into an office and being around people.

Also, for some in office positions I apply for, there may be 8-30 applicants, but these remote positions just tend to have nearly 1000 people apply. From what I gather, each office has some form of hybrid option where maybe they go in once a week, 3 days a week, etc. I didn't go along with much of the pandemic response, so that could be part of why I just want the office routine to stay the same.
