After update the stock inventory, you should disable the confirm button and show a new Modify button that restores the stock.

I would create a JSON field on the line item table to auto enter/calculate a json array to hold the Prod ID and Qty, so there will be no need for the loop on the line item table and reduce go to layouts and finds.

what happened if you klik Confirm button over and over again? would it be decreasing the stock? I have download your files but was not able to modify it

I am trying to create an inventory system but it has one more layer. it would be sales - line - line composition - inventory. i am trying to double the loop script. when a product is produced containing multiple parts then when we sell it will individually send those parts to the inventory. so its like a many to many transfer from parts to inventory through the product. I can loop the first part but when i come back to the product it just goes back to the first found set and doest not follow through. if you have any thoughts please help thank you

Hey there. Is your course all about going over all the existing FM tools like you do in your tutorials?
Or does your course have real life applications/examples (course projects)?
I'm new to FM Pro but I have very specific learning targets in mind and I'm looking for a course yes but this course has to have in-depth explanations inside a FM PROJECT like a company that sells products and needs to track down and manage all the different departments inside the company and all the specific daily procedures inside each department.
Could your course help me with this? If yes, provide more details please.
In the meantime let me tell you that your tutorials have already helped me a bit to understand FM better.

Hi Sunny. Something that will also help is to enhance the script by checking for stock availability while a) selecting order products/qty and b) when the confirm button is selected. Script steps should be the same I believe?

Why are you manually reducing you inventory? Makes no sense. CFM (Claris Filemaker-as it's known today) is more than capable than doing that. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't think so.
