I adore Let's Plays, they have always been really fun for me, because I'm not great at games, and buying games can be pricey in AUS, so watching them was my primary exposure to gaming for the longest time. It's a shame it's become a dying art due to the way YT's Algorithm works nowadays, but I'll always keep the fondest memories of those times. I do think streams are a great alternative, but having to watch entire streams live is a pain, there's no pausing for breaks or anything like that, unless you go back to the VoD afterwards to see what you missed. I would binge entire playlists of 60+ eps in the past, but nowadays I do kinda struggle to simply sit and watch a 2-3 hour stream live.
