Inspired by the 100 hours of Astronomy, Global Astronomy Month is an annual offshoot began upon the inception of Astronomers Without Borders in 2009, and remains one of its flagship programs.

A mix of various edutaining programs ranging from AstroArts to Cultural Astronomy to Observational Programs, this annual festival celebrating astronomy runs the whole month of April and features international partners that create a larger community of astronomy enthusiasts that span the globe.
