Coca-Cola Small World Machines - Bringing India & Pakistan Together

Показать описание
In March 2013, Coca-Cola set out to break down barriers and create a simple moment of connection between two nations -- India and Pakistan. The initiative "Small World Machines" provided a live communications portal between people in India and Pakistan and showed that what unites us is stronger than what sets us apart. The key to engaging with each other through the machines was simple: people in India and Pakistan could complete a task, like touching hands, drawing peace, love, and happiness symbols -- together.

Glory to Yoko Taro.
Getting inspired from something that was related to the Indian-Pakistani culture, and put it in his game.
Nier Automata is a gift that keeps on giving.

This is so amazing! I have some Indian and Pakistani heritage but was totally unaware of the situation between India and Pakistan. The world needs more people like this that are will to be friends and put differences aside.

"War is waged by politicians and leaders, but fought by the people".
is a saying I often repeat and contemplate in my head since I first heard it from my high school teacher...

I am a pakistani girl and I really agree with this message. india is awesome! I just want us to be friends :)
Why should I be held responsible for the doings of other people from my country, I have done nothing wrong.I don't hold grudges for my country either. Let's be friends!

I don't even care if this is a corporate promotion. I'm just glad a company has at least tried to portray something so genuinely positive

Came here after seeing the NYC <> Dublin Portal debacle.
Happy to see a different part of the world demonstrate we can indeed have nice things.

Mashallah. Dil khush ho gaya. Kash yeh screen k bijae real mein milen. Agar dono countries ke log dil ki nafraten mita kar ek ho jayen, to talent ki base par puri dunya ko hila kar rakh sakte hain. Dono ka music top ka, actors top ke, aur bhi bohot kuch. 2015 aa gaya hai, pata nahi kyu abhi bhi kuch logon ke dilon mein nafrat hai. Please purani baton ko bhula kar ek ho jao aur dunya mein dosti ki ek misal peda karo :-)

wish more people from both sides of the border visit each other... i have this experience and it changed my prospect about Indians forever.. i cant explain in words it was like stepping into a part of ur house which u have never been to before.. wish we had students exchange programs between us.. only then the people would get rid of their misconceptions..

with love from Pakistan.

And this also inspired the creation of Ending E in Nier: Automata. Amazing.

Very brave. Very few brands are able to get into a conflict between two countries and leave without harming themselves. Congratulations to the creative team and the brand for this work.

If you are an Indian or Pakistani living in the middle-east, Europe or the US, and you happen to meet a Pakistani or an Indian, you'll know how similar we are! You'll proudly tell your European, American and Emirati friends that you are not so different after all! You'll have tons to share, first of which is Cricket, then comes movies! It's a different feeling altogether! It's amazing. I really hope we can live in harmony and get to know each other better!

~ This was an incredibly great thought of having a machine like this to really see who the neighbours are :) Coca Cola comes up with many great ideas all over the world but can we have something like that in Hong Kong? The sharing can was a good idea too but again we should have access to it in hong kong too!! :)
