Honestly, start having fun made a difference for me. Having ADHD and doing a thing that sucks is horrible, but when you do the fun stuff, the hyper-focus mode goes in, and it is just another experience.

Do what is useful and fun to you using the stuff you want to learn.

This one of reason why I start using Vim, Tmux, and all of that CLI stuff that make me use mouse less. I didn't do it for sake of "optimization" or "more productive", I simply do it because it make programming and software engineering like a game. More challenging but it become more fun and I believe make things more fun is important because it prevent you to burnout especially on something you do for living

I dont have fun but I like the feeling of satisfaction when I accomplish something more then anything. Like, I dont have to accomplish something big, even if it's a simple working if statement that gives me huge satisfaction

Couldn't agree more! When I look back in games like factorio, satisfactory, oxygen not included, I realise that what I loved was learning, learning recipes, new ways of doing things, basic game mechanics etc, and when I get bored of it and stop playing, and do that repeatedly, I realise it because I know the mechanics and so have nothing to learn even if I still have more to do.

An example recently is a uni assignment about AI. I was scared of doing it, but framing it as "I can learn so much" I didnt mind it as much.
