I remember when this game, De ja vu, and the uninvited came out for the NES.

Loved the NES one. Looked at screen shots for this and looked kinda dull but watching gameplay, I'm impressed. Wish I had a Switch or PC that could run this. Looks well-made and I like the music too.

To rest and refill health also through health regeneration to save whenever these things really help but only when developers will add them.

I have the NES version from back in the day (which was actually a PC port from that era). It seems that the puzzles are very similar if not the same as that version. If that's truly the case, then this would be a disappointing playthrough for me.

I dunno. I find the illustrations a bit too rough and blurry. And as hidden object games go, the Artifex Mundi titles are simply superior.

Oh come on. It looks like one of these indie-steam-games made by students. Much cooler would be SNES-styled remake of Shadowgate, this high-resolution-graphic doesn't fit.

Something just doesn't feel right about this at all. Feels cheap, ads are ridiculous, and the voice acting is corny and stupid. The original, even though it has clearly aged, is still my preference. That said, this looks like it should be taken back into the workshop and be redone completely. The art looks like it's on the right track but could still be improved. Sound effects are good like the satchel sound, and the music I think is okay. Nothing remarkable, but also could be done better. For 20 bucks I'm better off buying a Wii U game.
