The Snails and Crabs scene at 2:50 is probably one of the most beautiful scenes i have ever seen on my life, just wonderful to have the chance to live in a moment of earth's life that i get to see things like this.

Why is the ocean so salty?

Probably because the land never waves back IMO.

I still don't understand why there is so much NaCl over any other elemental salt combination. For example why not LiCl or KI those salts seem just as possible along with a million other different combinations? If I have 100kg of sea salt how much is NaCl actually and how would I know if there were other salts present?

My sister asked my dad why the sea is salty and he just said, “because all of the sh*ts is in there.” Right in her face.

Does the altering salinity not affect living creatures themselves? (Beyond the food issue, would it not upset their homeostasis?)

The ocean is salty because it was mad that all the pollution and garbage is dumped into it

How do animals respond to human music? Like dancing bears, for instance. Do they dance to the music?

It’s all that guy’s fault who dumped the magic salt maker in the ocean when he was on a boat.

i heared the opposite thing, that because of all the melting water the water of the sea is becomming less salty causing a collapse of the sea streams, which is it? and will they finally make up their mind?
