Σε αναγκαίους συμβιβασμούς με την Τουρκία, τους οποίους μάλιστα εκτιμά ότι είναι έτοιμη να κάνει η κυβέρνηση, αναφέρεται ο Αμερικανός πρέσβης στην Αθήνα Τζέφρι Πάιατ. Ο Αμερικανός διπλωμάτης που μετείχε στο Φόρουμ της Ολυμπίας αποκάλυψε επίσης ποιο ήταν το γεγονός που σήμανε συναγερμό στο ΝΑΤΟ για να αναλάβει πρωτοβουλία αποκλιμάκωσης.

If we have to sit on the negotiation table, we might as well, put our demands / claims on that table as well.

They want to talk? Right!
We want to talk too..

... about Imvros and Tenedos islands, about the illegal occupation of part of Cyprus, about the huge military force on the Turkish coastline and the daily violation of the Greek airspace over the Greek islands by Turkish planes.
And, what about the Evros border and illegal immigrants, about compensating the Greek people of Constantinople, about the genocide of the Christian Greeks of Pontus and those of Smyrna and, last but not least, the conversion of the Holly Church of St. Sophia in Constantinople to a muslim temple.

Oh Mr Ambassador, there's SO MUCH to talk so, let's see how willing our Turkish "friends" are, to solve these little issues with us.
