My grandmother tells me stories of weird stuff happening to her and other people which is why she is a believer of the paranormal and 2 things she always warned me of
1) never open doors if you suspect it's something inhuman on the other side cuz they're most likely trying to get in and
2) apparently verbally acknowledging these things breaks a barrier that can allow them to harm you

The video of the ball falling from the closet is easily explained. Houses shift, air drafts can push object or - likely in this case - the ball was probably perched on the closet shelf in a position that made it easy to just roll out.
