I just received my drone today. You explained it in more detail than I could read in the little manual. The print is small for my eyes. I got mine running but it hit the ceiling and crashed behind the deep freezer. I tied a string to it with a magnet 🧲 to a chair so I can operate it within the string length until I master the controls. Now I’m working on getting the camera view on the phone. Thank for the tutorial.

Anyone who has a negative comment about the E88. Remember that this sort of tech (if available) would have cost over £500 as recently as 2010. Mine performs flawlessly.

Nice overview! One thing that needs to be checked is if your E88 drone is a "runner". Many E88 drones do not stop when they lose connection to controller and keep going... and going and going until it's gone and lost forever. You need to be very careful to keep these "runner" E88 drones well within controller range at all times. Just put the drone to hover nearby and shutoff controller to see if it powers down and drops to ground. Many E88 do not do this. There are also some tinkering if you want to get most out of them. First, add an oil port in each of the arms so you can lube the crown gear before each flight. Without lube, these drones sound like a sawing machine. That makes huge difference in noise level and adds lot of life to these drones. Second is add a legit antenna to the controller (or use wifi booster). There are lots of videos showing you how to do this.

While I do appreciate your video, I wish it would explain the function of ALL buttons on the remote. I have yet to find a video which does just that and would appreciate anyone's direction to such a instructional video. The drone as far as I have experienced is pretty impressive. I purchased mine with 3 batteries for under $15 usd, delivered from ALi Express. The technology and engineering to build this toy, with all it's functions just floors me. I am older and grew up when R/C planes were the rage, and they weren't cheap., especially when you crashed one. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience.

As soon as 1 started mine with the app it took off straight away going to the left, I dint even hit lift off it done it on its own and had to grab it as it was going away left.

THANK YOU so much for posting this video. I'm brand new at this & having watched your video, I'm a little further along than when I first opened the package. However, under my wifi settings, the only thing I see is FLOW followed with other characters & it says the network isn't secure. That concerns me. Also, nowhere does it ask for me to enter a password, why is that? Whatever information you can provide me with, any additional information, that is, I would be grateful. Thank you.

I have the damn e88 in trying to connect the Rc FPV app and sync the drone to my android.. the information in the app is useless said to search and connect to "xxx" which does not come up. I don't have the anymore with the QR code but I'm pretty sure I downloaded the correct app there is just no easy strait forward way too sync the phone to the drone to use the camera I'm going to reach out to the manufacturer in China? There instructions are stupid it should be easy to connect this thing to a phone literally can anyone point me in the right direction?
