Would you be able to explain what tool is needed to read the id when the tire is already mounted ?

Installed snow tires/wheels on my 2020 Prius Prime Limited, and TPMS light was stuck on. Tire shop didn't have updated TPMS tool, so I initially purchased an Autel 501 TPMS unit, couldn't get it to turn off sensor even with tech support. Watched your video and using my Carista adapter, worked perfectly! Returned the Autel, canceled my Toyota service appointment, so this saved me significantly! Carista for the WIN!

So this will stop the tpms light on a Toyota Verso 2014 flashing and staying on amber? Pressure is fine and new tyres.

Can’t recommend this enough, important things to note however. 1. Make sure you check it’s compatible with your vehicle, 2 make sure you order the correct TPMS. Provided you do this it works fine. Thanks again guys 2014 Auris,

Do you know how to program 2nd set of TPMS for winter tires without removing the registration for the summer tires?

Can you register new TPMS on a 2007 Toyota RAV4 with this?

Do you have to register the TPMS everytime you do tire swap, like changing from winter to summer tires and vice versa. I have these installed on my tire..wish never done it. I just manually check my tire anyways. That's what happened when you go to dealership. I got tricked into their upsell tactics..

I have a 2011 Toyota Camry XLE and need to find out which sensor is not communicating causing a fault. Will Carista inform which sensor is faulty? Also do I need to purchase OEM sensors to register the new sensor with the TPMS? Thanks

Good video. One question. I have a 08 lexis es350 and my car has a full spare wheel with tpms sensor. I plan to change them all but do I have to change the spare too? Can no I just do 4 tires and not all 5?

What about the spare tire TPMS? The 2014 Lexus ES350 has a sensor on the spare.

Right on target for me ... perfect timing that I found your video as I am replacing a TPMS on my Toyota and love the idea of registering it myself. Thanks for a concise and clear video.

What if you don't know the new TPMS ID? Got 4 new to me tires with the original Toyota TPMS still on those wheels don't know the IDs though

I have new TPMS sensors and I will install them soon. I have the TPMS IDs and I will set them up using the method in this video. Will my car pick up the sensors once I write the IDs in? I'm asking because I've read that TPMS sensors need to be "woken up" after installation, so will I need to use a TPMS tool just for that? At that point I might as well just use the same tool to write the IDs to the ECU and not use Carista at all, I'm trying to avoid that and use Carista only if possible.

Hello Carista, Toyota Corolla Sedan Hybrid 2020, need to change that "Main Tire set" to "Secondary" and program my Winter Tire set, any suggestion how enter that Secondary option? Ty for answer!

Thanks. Nowhere did the manual mention that the car has two sets of codes for summer and winter tires (main and secondary registry) The damn car was set to the secondary tpms and I could never get the mil to go away when changing back to summer tires. The carista app displayed main and secondary tpms and made it really easy to get the tpms to work properly.
