After 25 years of playing I watched through your blues playlist last night. I was in bed, didn't have a guitar nearby but what you said caught my attention. It all made sense. I had the musical vocabulary to understand that this was what I was missing. I consider myself a pretty decent guitarist I just never really learned how to solo. I've read a thousand different takes on music theory and improvisation. I know chord theory and how scales work. But something just clicked after watching your videos. It's a rewarding feeling when all my years of playing and practicing technique suddenly came together today when I grabbed my guitar.

Thanks for everything Ian! Would you consider making an in-depth course breaking down the grateful dead style? Like everything and how it all works together? How to compose music using that style? I can’t seem to figure it out and there’s no good structured lessons about it except for specific parts of specific songs. They play so unique, so many layers and put it all together in such a way that no matter how many times I listen to something by them all i hear is just a single entity. Im lost... ill pay whatever it takes lol. Again... thanks! Your lessons have been by far the most helpful and relatable.
