Looks great. An easy way to make a wall look like a barn. I vote for the metal ceiling. Keep em coming!

Excellent video, I like the way you used L brackets to secure stud to steel frame. I was considering extra long Tek screws but this seems much easier

Hi, I'm going to be building a 30 x 45 metal garage and I love all your ideas, FYI I would encase the steel angle supports in pine, to loose the metal look, but it may go with the metal roofing

Just the video I was looking for. Getting ready to finish my building, and I planned on siding like you did, and notching around the angles. Only my plan is to use 1 x 4 horizontal girts attached to the metal studs, and siding over the top. Hoping that works.

Only suggestion I would make is to off-set the vertical seams. That will tie the entire wall into a more rigid piece. Not “required” for a metal building but it’s stronger and doesn’t cost any more so generally wort it. Unless for some reason you want an 8’ board and batten look with no visible seams.

Great looking space man. One thing I noticed was, you should’ve used PT for your bottom plates.

That turned out awesome. I think I caught a glimpse of a new TS? 🤔😁

I've decided to have horizontal metal siding, so I can run my electric through the grooves. Then, use 3/4" vertical 1x2 slats against the siding to allow for 1-1/2" foam board insulation to be installed flush with the metal studs. Tape the joints, Spray texture, and paint right over the foam board. Since I will be installing tons of peg board, shelves, and storage racks, I don't need beautiful looking walls. I just need it to be white and functional.

What stain and color did you use? In the process of doing the exact same thing and I tried Minwax Early American on a sample but it was a bit dark. Looks great.

I have the same style metal bldg. can I attach the plywood directly to metal or add horizontal 1x then attach to that? Concern is weight hanging things on walls

Same type of building I'm working on doing the same. I'm dealing with a problem with water coming in underneath square tubing. Looking at sealing it with a liquid sealant but just curious what you would do?

What size wood did you use for the frame?

I didn’t see the comment, but when you put the first wall up on the left-hand corner, you drilled through the outside tin wall? Not picking I’m just wondering. Love your videos. I’m about to do wall sheeting in my shop right now today it’s been spray foamed.

Thanks for the useful info! Just to clarify, based off your channel, you used just the double bubble for a couple of years and then did the framing and plywood? Curious if you got good use out of just the double bubble.
