Banding the 2019 Eagle Cam Chicks

On Saturday, May 25th, NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife eagle project staff visited the eagle nest at Duke Farms to band the two nestlings.

, ...Please tell me how this is not a problem for disturbing nesting pairs or breaking federal laws but letting a chick die on the nest is?
