this speech is painfully out of date. Israel is not the only democracy in Middle East. Lebanon had elections last year. Israel is not surrounded by enemies. Egypt and Jordon have both recognized Israel since the 1970's, Israeli's primary enemy is the Palestinians, and they are not a threat to the United States. They barely present a threat to Israel.
