In the pokemon universe, there are two pokemon who are actually quite the same. These pokemon are charmander and cubone.

In the Pokémon Adventures: Red managa, Blue has a Charmander that has the same back spike as Cubone; its shown when Charmander turns it's back to Red's Bulbasaur and flicks it's tail to use Ember

I believe it's a baby kangaskhan because kangaskhan is a mom Pokemon. And to back up that theory when Pokemon Sun and Moon came out they featured the SOS battle call mechanism into the game where wild Pokemon can call up for back ups. Not just random Pokemon back up they call for their kind. I, one time bumped into a wild Cubone I was gonna catch it but it did an SOS call and a fricken kangaskhan showed up I was like wtf is this their confirmation of saying that Cubone is a baby kangaskhan

It's actually baby kangaskhan. When it mega evolve you can see the baby have more details of a cubone.

I honestly dissagree with this, the skull on cubones head is too different from charizards head for it to be a Charizard skull.

Not only is charizards head around the size of a cubone, on the skull cubone wears the nostril holes are on the side of the snout, while charizards nostrils are on the front. plus the horns are too short and at a different angle then on charizard.
