Always great that Irina, gets Vishy to explain his quick chess thoughts for us lesser mortals.

Kudos to both Krush and Anand, working together as a great team. Also, good that Irina is the mouse master and Vishy as the gentleman commentator.

As I had written before:
Please fix the problem of Irina's microphone at least in the next round. This time it seemed as the microphone was covered by her hair most of the time - her voice sounded muffled, the higher frequencies were suppressed.
By way of contrast, Anand's audio track was crystal clear throughout.
Please fix that ... perhaps a solid microphone as in the press conferences might work better for her.

FIDE needs to be encouraged to stop punishing Russian players. It's unprofessional, and a disgrace to the international chess community. These nutjob administrators need to leave their petty politics OUT of chess! Stop blacklisting them from tournaments, stop pretending to have any moral authority to lecture others, let them sport their own flag, and just do your job.
That goes for Chess24 and Chesscom also. They have willingly gone along with this infantile political posturing. Enough is enough!

Seriously, do I really need to watch these women's second rate chess so I can watch Vishy comment on the candidates?

Isn't women's chess a thing because they need their space? Give them their space.
