I never had much interest in the Scott Lang Ant-Man before the movie. Now my interest has increased quite substantially. Otherwise Ant-Man was to me Hank Pym, but he had too many powers related problems as well as psychological ones as well. It was cool when The Wasp began to become more and more significant. In the beginning she was a pretty marginal sidekick where it didn't seem to matter if she was along or not. In fact you might have to protect or save her. In the movie it seems as if she is a and was a force to be reckoned with. The constant size changing worked pretty well in the film even if it got crazy at times. So much of that was timing.
